Spoiler Alert!

At the conclusion of episode 1, Winston brought the injured Yen to Lou and Miles' Dojo after Frankie was killed. On the flip side, Cormac believed he had acquired the ancient coin press by killing Frankie. However, he was deceived by Frankie, who had concealed the ancient coin press somewhere else, leaving Cormac with an empty box. The story now progresses in episode 2.

Episode 2 begins with Winston and Frankie in 1955 as kids working for Cormac. Cormac sends them to throw a Molotov into an apartment, unaware that a family lives there. When Winston throws the Molotov, the apartment ignites, and the family inside perishes in the fire. Both of them are horrified to realise they have just murdered people and flee. This event serves as the opening scene of episode 1.

The flashback concludes, and we see Winston and Miles cremating Frankie's body while Yen recovers from her injuries. In another flashback, we witness how Yen met Frankie during the Vietnam War. Meanwhile, the Orphan Master, the new boss in Chinatown, forcefully installs a cigarette machine in Lou's Dojo. We are introduced to Weiko, an orphan who is like a pet to the Orphan Master. On the other hand, Mayhew meets KD at her apartment and attempts to persuade her to abandon her investigation into the Continental and Frankie, but KD refuses.

Word reaches Winston that Cormac didn't obtain what he wanted from Frankie, and no one has any idea what happened with that thing. Winston plans to attack the Continental. Initially, Miles and Lou try to dissuade him, but Winston reminds the group that the coin press is still missing, and Cormac will eliminate anyone close to Frankie until he finds it. Consequently, Miles, Lou, and Lemmy reluctantly agree to help Winston take down Cormac. However, Yen gets furious and fights with Winston as she disapproves of him cremating Frankie without her consent.

Detective KD discovers that Frankie's body was removed from the morgue, and no one knows who took it. In her investigation she finds out that Frankie has a brother. She tries to find more information but doesn't get much details about Winston.

At the Continental, the Adjudicator visits Cormac and reprimands him for failing to locate the stolen coin press, giving him three days to rectify the situation or face the high table's wrath and be disposed of.

Winston begins assembling a team and sends Miles to recruit Jenkins, a skilled sniper who happens to be an old friend of Miles' father and bears a grudge against Cormac. Jenkins is a humorous character who despises bullies and criminals. In his introduction scene, he casually shoots a pedophile who was attempting to lure a child playing in the park.

Winston visits the Bowery to meet Mazie, the leader of a powerful crew in the New York underworld that isn't under Cormac's control. There, he learns that all the beggars and addicts on the street are her people. He tries to offer her money for support, but she tells him she doesn't deal in dollars, only love. She offers to help if he tells his story to her. Meanwhile, Cormac's men are searching every possible place where Frankie could have hidden the coin press. In their search, they reach Frankie's theatre in Alphabet City. Yen is also there, and she kills all the mercenaries with ease.

While they converse at the Bowery, Cormac's men, who have somehow followed Winston, arrive but are instantly killed by Mazie's men posing as beggars and addicts. She departs before Winston can persuade her to join him. While leaving, he notices the underground paths through which Mazie's men operate. We have already seen this in John Wick movies when John Wick meets the Bowery King.

Following that, Winston visits Charlie's place and meets Ronnie. There, he discovers that Cormac's mercenaries, the Twins, ransacked his place in search of the coin press. Charlie agrees to join his team.

When they all meet, Yen provides them with a sketch of the Continental made by Frankie, containing all the necessary details. Miles then embarks on a mission to secure resources for their fight against Cormac. Miles and Yen steal a van containing weapons from a military compound.

KD investigates Frankie's associates and convinces Mayhew to assist her in her pursuit of a van associated with the criminals.

Winston and Jenkins keep a close watch on the Continental while seeking a strategic advantage. Jenkins suggests that killing Cormac on the hotel grounds would trigger an alarm, prompting all the assassins within the hotel to pursue the assailants. Winston identifies Cheron as a potential ally in his battle against Cormac. On the other hand, Cheron and his friend Thomas, the hotel musician, discuss their aspirations on the rooftop. Thomas reveals he has been accepted into a music school in Ireland and invites Cheron to join him, but Cheron declines, feeling indebted to Cormac for his help. Cheron wishes to prove his loyalty to Cormac, so that Cormac can bring his father to the USA.

In Chinatown, Weiko breaks windows of Lou's Dojo on the Orphan Master's orders. She attempts to apprehend him, but he escapes and takes refuge behind the Orphan Master. Orphan Master's men attempt to stop her, but she beats them to pulp. Then the Orphan Master tries to intimidate her but she doesn’t give a damn. In frustration, he says to himself that the Boogeyman will be coming.

In the next scene, Winston with the help of Lou and the bus driver abducts Cheron and tries to convince him to join him by telling his story how Cormac manipulated them to work for him. He also offers to bring his father to the USA. Meanwhile, at the Continental, Cormac kills Thomas as he finds out that he will be moving to Ireland.

Cheron returns to the Continental and discovers that Cormac murdered Thomas, claiming that Thomas was attempting to steal something precious from him, ultimately revealed to be Cheron himself. Cheron informs Cormac that Winston tried to recruit him for his crew. After Cormac agrees to keep his promise to bring Cheron's father to the US, Cheron becomes even more devoted to him. However, it remains intriguing to see how their relationship develops, given Cheron's unwavering loyalty to Winston in the John Wick movies.

In the final moments of the episode, the Adjudicator learns that Cormac has violated the "no killing" rule on the Continental grounds. However, she refrains from taking action against Cormac for breaking this rule, indicating her primary objective to find the coin press at all costs.
